MODE¶

Specifies the flow mode within the SUBSURFACE_FLOW block.

MODE <string>: Specifies the flow mode. The options for <string> are shown below:

Options:¶

RICHARDS: Single-phase variable saturated groundwater flow using Richards Equation.
GENERAL: Multiphase air-water-energy.
HYDRATE: Multiphase hydrate-water-energy.
WIPP_FLOW: Immiscible two-phase air-water
MPHASE: Supercritical CO₂-water-energy.
TH: Coupled groundwater flow and energy/thermal; TH = “Thermo-Hydro”.

Experimental Flow Modes

IMS, IMMIS, THS: Immissible two-phase CO₂-water-energy.
MISCIBLE: Miscible H₂O-glycol.
FLASH2: Supercritical CO₂-water-energy
